Cybercom has been awarded the two major framework agreements within Kammarkollegiet's (Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency) substantial new framework agreement procurement, Software and Services 2014.

Cybercom is one of seven vendors selected within the Software and Services, Office Support framework agreement. The contract is for two years with an option for a further two years, and is estimated to be worth a total of SEK 1,100 million per year.

Cybercom is also one of six vendors selected within the Software and Services, Basic IT framework agreement. The contract is for two years with an option for a further two years, and is estimated to be worth a total of approximately SEK 300 million per year.

Both agreements provide significant opportunities regarding how the software is delivered and installed, as the procurement includes proprietary software, software with open source licenses, software delivered with hardware for installation in the client's IT environment (known as appliances), apps and cloud services. They also include bundled services, known in the procurement as Customer Unique Service Delivery.

Both agreements have a 10-day standstill period calculated from the publication date of the notice of award. The standstill period expires on January 27, 2015.

"We are very pleased with this announcement. To be selected within both these major procurements consolidates, along with the other major framework agreements we now have, our strong position as a turnkey supplier to the Swedish public sector," says Pär Abelson, public sector manager, Cybercom.

"The public sector is one of our three strategic market segments, and it is therefore gratifying to again note that our determined efforts are paying off. We have shown good growth in both the Swedish and the Finnish public sectors over the past year and, with these two agreements, I see great opportunities to continue to strengthen our position in the connected world in the coming years," says Niklas Flyborg, President and CEO, Cybercom.
