The City of Stockholm chose Cybercom as its preferred supplier. The agreement is valid for three years with a one plus one-year extension option.

"This framework agreement with the City of Stockholm is a feather in our cap. We see significant business potential with the City of Stockholm under this agreement," says Pär Abelson, public sector manager at Cybercom.

Cybercom is one of three preferred suppliers chosen by the City of Stockholm to deliver services in two areas: development, management, and specification of systems; and other system development (such as Microsoft technologies and Java).

"Here are two core areas for us at Cybercom in which we have every advantage. They also give us an opportunity to work with the City from requirements and development through long-term management," says Christoffer Backman, public sector account manager at Cybercom.

The agreement is valid from 8, November 2010 until 7, November 2013, subject to any appeal. The City estimates the total volume for all frame agreements during the contract period to about SEK 70 million for both areas.

"For Cybercom as a company, this agreement with the City of Stockholm proves that our vigorous efforts in the public sector are bearing fruit," says Anders Franzén, vice director of Cybercom Sweden.
