Cybercom in Finland has signed a contract with energy company Skapat Energia making Cybercom the supplier of Skapat Energia’s new electricity demand management system. With the use of the system Skapat Energia will strengthen its position in the corporate and public sectors.

“From the designers’ point of view the project is challenging and therefore exciting. Our design principles are based on ease of use and trouble-free daily operations”, explains Timo Laaksonen, a director at Cybercom Finland.

The system aims to improve the core business of Skapat Energia. Cybercom’s know-how is required throughout the project:  estimations, simplified models, reliable project deliveries, application tests, application support, and BI technologies. The solution utilizes agile methods with strong reliance on a PHP technology.

With this system Skapat Energia will strengthen its position as a long term and reliable partner in the rapidly changing electricity market and facilitate the production processes of its own personnel.

Managing director Tommi Vekka of Skapat Energia is pleased with the chosen solution. ”In the beginning a great deal of emphasis was based on good planning. As a result, we expect the solution to eliminate many everyday problems and expedite our processes. I am looking forward to next spring when the system will be put into use.”
