Cybercom's CyberMate PreHospital a success: field-test at Falck Redningskorps in Denmark After comprehensive development co-operation, Falck Redningskorps in Denmark chose to install a desktop version of CyberMate PreHospital. The desktop version is being used as a medicine documentation system for electronic journals. When the first installation phase, which is a field- test, is finished, half of Denmark will be covered. In partnership with Medtronic, a leading med-tech corporation, Cybercom is developing CyberMate PreHospital, which is used as a complement to Medtronic's LIFEPAK®12, a product for defibrillating, telemedicine, and registration of other critical emergency medicine parameters. All data on observations and treatment of patients are stored electronically; this provides a foundation for high-quality journal archives and follow-up statistics and reports. Because all data are stored electronically, different treatment methods can be easily followed up and evaluated. CyberMate significantly improves assessment of tasks performed by personnel in ambulances. "CyberMate PreHospital is a medicine documentation system.
