Demand for Cybercom’s embedded systems services is skyrocketing, so Cybercom's Stockholm operation is expanding in this area. Cybercom has cutting-edge expertise in embedded systems, hardware design, and software development.

Product development occurs quickly in the telecom sector where product cycles are usually short. In recent years, new usage areas have exploded, and new products and services have been continuously released. Cybercom’s embedded systems unit develops applications and communication software for mobile devices, network simulators, and communication equipment.

"Embedded systems is one of Cybercom's core businesses,” says Anders Franzén, MD for Cybercom in Stockholm. ”Over the years, we've gained extensive experience in this area, and our applications range from operation/control systems and production-testing applications to signal processing and environmental measuring instruments. We have experiences from various sectors, and we'll now put extra focus on embedded systems.”

Cybercom’s strength lies in its customer propositions that cover many areas and include the entire chain from pre-study, design, development, testing, and quality assurance to final product launch. Cybercom's product development capabilities includes embedded systems, electronics, hardware design, radio communication, and software.

“Cybercom understands how products and systems are used," says Jyri Jöe, embedded systems manager at Cybercom in Stockholm. ”We create technical solutions that provide outstanding functionality for end customers and develop software for mobile device functionality. Cybercom also develops support systems for embedded systems and participates in standardisation for device management – the workflow between terminal manufacturers, operators, and distributors that assists users in upgrading to the most recent mobile device software.”

Cybercom is dedicated to testing and verification of mobile terminals and platforms. The company developed an outsourcing concept where Cybercom manages regression testing, interoperability, and network signalling.
