Cybercom targets the area of security
Cybercom expands its investments in the IT security business and is launching a new service as well as establishing a centre of excellence in Poland. Cybercom’s Compliance Portal service is the next-generation GRC tool for security governance. The service supports innovative processes in compliance through interactive compliance management, and displays the status of operational security in real time.
One important client is Stockholm Public Transport (SL), which attaches a high level of importance to data and IT security.
“Efficient compliance management is important to SL. We were seeking new and innovative methods to control information security throughout the company, including with our IT providers. Cybercom’s service has enabled us to achieve this,” says Torsten Regenholz, Data and IT Security Manager, SL.
Cybercom has worked on IT security for many years, with a number of Sweden’s leading companies and organisations. For the next generation of risk management, Cybercom has developed Compliance Portal V3. This is a well thought out and professional Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) tool with fully developed support for risk management. Compliance Portal V3 supports innovative compliance processes through interactive compliance management, and displays the status of operational security in real time.
“The industry needs a more modern support tool for security governance. The increasingly connected world is leading to a more rapid pace of change in the systems and services of our clients. The security-related issues surrounding risk and compliance are also becoming more challenging. Our clients want to be able to simply and securely monitor and manage their governance, risk management and compliance. This need is addressed with our Compliance Portal V3,” says Yngve Sunnanbo, Head of Secure Connectivity, Cybercom Group.
Cybercom’s Secure Connectivity business domain is growing. Cybercom therefore starts a new centre of excellence for security services in Poland.
“We are seeing a large market for security services in Poland, such as for PCI DSS quality assurance, where we recently won a contract from one of the biggest supermarket chains in Poland. From our Polish centre of excellence we are also able to provide our services more effectively to clients in Sweden, Finland and Denmark,” says Bo Strömqvist, Head of Sales, Cybercom Group.
