The project put out to tender also included the State Treasury's Voima reporting project, which aims to implement process and customer reporting for citizens' services. The projects are connected to a Hansel framework agreement that will run until 31 May 2020.

Cybercom will implement Business Intelligence (BI) with its partner, Avarea.

The State Treasury carries out central government steering for the Ministry of Finance. It provides group services related to the central government's internal finances and personnel, and handles the central government's assets, debts and accounting.

"We are satisfied with our work with Cybercom and Avarea. The new data warehouse solution will enable liabilities and guarantees to be reported on and monitored in a better, more diverse manner than before," says Tomi Poikola, CIO at the State Treasury.

Avarea has designed, specified and implemented a lending data warehouse for the State Treasury's financing agency to consolidate data on the Finnish central government's lending and guarantees. The data in the data warehouse are collected from several operational source systems.

"It is great that our long-term collaboration with the State Treasury will continue with us maintaining the new data warehouse and reporting, and also that the partnership will expand to cover Voima reporting. Modern solutions open up a new dimension on reporting and utilising data for decision-making," says Päivi Karesjoki, Avarea's CEO.

"We are happy to again be involved in major development of digital services for public administration. Cybercom is involved in every sub-area of Hansel's IT consulting. Cybercom's wide-ranging expertise provides the customer new opportunities for boosting operational efficiency," says Timo Laaksonen, Director Public Services, Cybercom.
