International expansion with doubled profit

“Cybercom has expanded significantly internationally and doubled its profit in a short time. The company successfully integrated several key acquisitions while continuing to develop its operations. We broadened our customer base and reduced dependency on individual customers. Following our strong expansion in 2007 and early 2008, Cybercom is now a significant player in the Nordic IT market. The company’s international operations are steadily growing, and more than 40% of Cybercom’s consultants now work outside Sweden.

Demand for Cybercom’s services is favourable. Many business negotiations focus on cutting costs. This trend gives Cybercom good opportunities for offering global sourcing, i.e., outsourcing selected parts of companies’ IT operations to low-cost countries. Cybercom’s proposition is based on a combination of local presence and global delivery capacity; business-critical elements stay close to the customer, while parts of production are relocated to low-cost countries.

Cybercom’s aggressive investments continue. In Q2 they included a substantial investment in recruitment and training in China. Cybercom also opened an office in Dubai to establish closer proximity to its customers in the region, where we currently have around 70 consultants. Acquisition and integration of Nexus Consulting was completed and Cybercom is now a leading consulting services provider for information and IT security in the Nordics.

Cybercom’s strategy is firmly established. Integration of the acquired companies is steadily forming a joint platform for the Group’s products and services. Joint sales activities in the new Cybercom are producing clear results and the influx of orders is strong. I see major opportunities ahead.”
