Smart Axiata engages Cybercom for Network Optimization Services
Smart Axiata, the No. 2 Mobile Service Provider is constantly striving to improve its network quality, aiming to offer its customer affordable but qualitative telecommunication services.
Following the integration of the former Hello network into the homogeneous Smart Axiata network and as part of Smart Axiata’s massive investment program 2013, Smart Axiata has engaged the experts of Cybercom for carrying out extensive Network Optimization works during December 2013 till March 2014.
Thomas Hundt, CEO of Smart Axiata said “To combine the initially two separate networks into one homogenous nationwide 2G/2.5G GSM/GPRS/EDGE and 3G/3.75G HSPA+ network was a highly complex exercise which we have successfully completed in 3rd quarter 2013. Further network optimization works will be carried out by experts to tune the optimal network quality out of the 2G and 3G network. As result of this, our customers will be able to enjoy an improved network quality while the network capacity and reach will be further boosted.”
He continued “We have selected Cybercom for this project as Cybercom will deliver through its vast expertise in carrying out such professional network optimization services a maximum of network quality parameter improvements.”
He further added “Smart is carrying out this extensive investment program with investing 50 million USD into the network this year to cater the ever growing demand for voice and internet services by our customers. We will also in 2014 set forth this investment program as especially the mobile internet demand is growing exponentially.”
