Veli-Matti Nurminen new Managing Director of Cybercom Finland
Cybercom Group appoints Veli-Matti Nurminen as the new Managing Director of Cybercom Finland. Business growth is expected 2016, the company is targeting substantial recruitment.
“I am very pleased to be entrusted with the position of Managing Director of Cybercom Finland,” says Veli-Matti Nurminen. “This company has great assets in the extensive expertise and experience of our consultants. We have fantastic assignments, helping clients benefit from the connected world, one great example of which is building national eID services for citizens. We are taking part in shaping the society of the future, and there are exciting times ahead. To meet this demand we need to recruit more people, and our target is to hire about 30 new employees in 2016.”
Veli-Matti Nurminen is 52 years old. He joined Cybercom in 2014 as head of the Digital Solutions business area. Step by step, he has admirably developed the business in the public sector with profitable growth. Before joining Cybercom, he held high-level positions at Tieto and Oy Visual Systems Ltd. His areas of expertise are in leadership in business transformation, new business start-ups, digitalisation and consultative sales.
“There have been some difficult years in Finland due to the economic downturn and macroeconomic developments, which we managed well. We will now strengthen our operations with new leadership and an intense focus on digitalisation, industrial IoT and cloud services,” says Niklas Flyborg, President and CEO, Cybercom. “Our Finnish business has a strong platform in these areas, and we see growing demand. The digital transformation is progressing. We aim to take market shares this year.”
