With Cult3D, viewers can rotate, move and fully manipulate a detailed, interactive 3D model of the PM/3G-E1/T1 board to examine the individual components incorporated into the board. Viewers can mouse-click on specific chips or processors to receive detailed information on the board's features. With 3D viewing of products on the site, Artesyn offers its customers the ability to quickly view product specifications for their designs. Artesyn field sales can show partner companies and potential customers the model and detailed features easily, without having an actual board in hand. This is beneficial since the boards are expensive and can be damaged by constant travel and handling. With the "virtual board" available online, more customers can view the board simultaneously, zooming in on detailed features that may be hard to see on the actual board. Artesyn is also using the model in internal sales training, a practice which the company reports has been very popular with the sales trainees. The company recently hired a number of additional sales staff and have incorporated the model into the sales training presentations, allowing new staff to interact with the detailed model.
