Dacke Industri appoints Lars Fredin as new CEO from January 1st, 2019
The board of Dacke Industri has appointed Lars Fredin as new CEO from 1/1 2019.
Lars Fredin joins Dacke Industri from a position as CEO for Konecranes Lifttrucks. Lars has broad international experience from living and working in Asia and North America. He has a long experience as CEO, Marketing Manager and Board member from international industrial companies. Lars lives with his family in Helsingborg.
Lars will replace Dacke Industri’s present CEO Börje Vernet, who has had his position since January 2016, due to Börje’s retirement from the position. Börje will continue as chairman of the board in the subsidiaries Llentab AB and UVA LIDKÖPING AB.
Dacke Industri was formed in connection with Nordstjernan’s acquisition of PMC Group in January 2016. A major restructuring was made of the acquired group into independent subsidiaries, with a strong focus on their respective business activities.Dacke Industri has since 2016 had a strong growth in profitability and sales, as well as adding 4 acquisitions to the group. Dacke Industri has today 8 operative subsidiaries with a combined turnover of 330 MEUR and 1 500 employees.Dacke Industri plans to further increase the acquisition activities and is presently recruiting within Acquisitions and Business Development to its office in Helsingborg.
