On December 31st, 2025, Dacke Industri further strengthened its European presence by acquiring 100% of the shares in Tufcot Engineering Ltd, a UK-based engineering and manufacturing company providing tailored composite solutions for industrial components.

The acquisition of Tufcot represents a strategic milestone in strengthening our European footprint and expanding our portfolio of industrial companies with solutions within power and motion applications. The company will become part of our Power and Motion division, where its expertise will enhance the group’s collective knowledge and drive innovative collaboration across the organisation.

Tufcot specialises in the development and manufacturing of composite materials and engineering components. They primarily produce bearings, bushings, wear rings, and other machine parts used across various industries globally, including the marine, automotive, railway, hydraulics, and many other diverse market sectors. They offer first-class products supported by exceptional service.

The company is headquartered in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Tufcot employs approximately 55 people and has an annual turnover of about £5,25 million.

"I’d like to thank the entire team at Dacke Industri for what has been a seamless sale and transition from my ownership to theirs. I am very happy that we managed to secure a deal with a company that wants to build on Tufcot’s successes over the last 44 years. I am confident that Tufcot has a strong and stable management team with a committed workforce, which will continue to succeed," says Elvin Majchrzak, Founder and former owner of Tufcot Engineering Ltd.

"From our first meeting with Dacke Industri, we knew they were the right fit for Tufcot and what was required to continue our history of growth, investment, and development. Dacke Industri’s strategic approach to acquisitions and its faith in continuing to build a strong company/brand were key factors in the collaboration. We can’t wait to start working with Dacke Industri and see where we can develop next," says Greg Majchrzak, Managing Director of Tufcot Engineering Ltd.

“We are delighted to welcome Tufcot to our group as part of our continued strategic growth in Europe. Their industry-leading expertise and high-quality composite solutions make them an ideal fit with our ambition to expand and strengthen collaboration within the group.
