Today Danisco A/S held its Annual General Meeting (AGM), at which the 2000/01 Annual Accounts were approved. The AGM adopted the proposal of the Board of Directors to pay dividend of DKK 6.00 per share of DKK 20, or DKK 339 million. Landowner Jon Krabbe and Dr. tech. h.c. Bo Berggren were re-elected to the Board of Directors. The AGM approved the Board of Directors' proposal for cancellation of a number of secondary names in Article 1.2 of the Articles of Association. The AGM renewed the Board of Directors' authorisation to allow the company to purchase its own shares in the period until the next AGM up to the amount of ten per cent of the share capital at the market price at the time of the purchase with a deviation of up to ten per cent.
