The construction of Denmark’s new aquarium The Blue Planet is now finalized and the building will be inaugurated by Her Majesty the Queen on March 21 2013.

The media is invited for the inauguration 
March 21 at 10.30 a.m. in The Blue Planet, Jacob Fortlingsvej 1, Kastrup, Copenhagen (Denmark). 

Only media representatives with special accreditation will be given access to the event.
Accreditation will be possible by registration at the latest on March 15 to Mette Qviste, mq@firstline.dk.

Also, kindly be aware that admittance will not be possible after 10.30 a.m.

March 20 at 1 p.m. in The Blue Planet, Jacob Fortlingsvej 1, Kastrup, Copenhagen (Denmark).

will present The Blue Planet which will be Northern Europe’s largest and most modern aquarium. The press conference includes a walk through the aquarium focusing on architecture, design, technology, learning services and research projects.

Main contributors to The Blue Planet are Realdania, Knud Højgaard’s Fond, Tårnby Municipality as well as Her Majesty Queen Margrethe and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik’s Fund.
