World's best sustainable design revealed in Copenhagen

You are hereby invited to the unveiling of the 5 winners of the world’s biggest design award on Thursday August 29th in Copenhagen.

INDEX: Award is the biggest design award in the world worth €500,000 and is given ONLY to design that improves life for people. The winners of INDEX: Award 2013 have been selected by a professional, international jury between 1.022 nominations from 73 countries - all aiming to solve global problems like water shortage, food waste, climate change and overpopulation with design.

The unveiling of the winners takes place under a signed embargo, as the winners are not revealed to the public until Thursday evening, and the press conference will - among other - be attended by the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen, as well as the five award winners.

After the press conference, members of the press will be able to conduct interviews and take pictures. Text, video and image material about the winners and the award will be provided on USB sticks.
