Chair of the Board Nils Bernhard declines to seek re-election to the Dannemora Mineral board
Chair of the Board Nils Bernhard has announced that he does not wish to stand for re-election at the 2013 Dannemora Mineral AGM.
Along with Lennart Falk, Nils Bernhard was the co-founder of Dannemora Mineral and has been chair of the board since the start in 2005.
“It has been both a tremendous challenge and a tremendous pleasure to have been involved in taking the company from concept to a productive mining company. From the initial steps over eight years ago, Dannemora has been continuously in my thoughts and I feel it is now time for new energy and new ideas to take Dannemora Mineral forwards to the next level.The nomination committee proposes Åke Roos and Michael Rosenlew be elected as new members of the board. They will bring substantial industrial and financial expertise at a time when the company has progressed from being an investment project to becoming an industrial producer. I am also delighted that my co-founder Lennart Falk has been proposed for election as chair of the board. Lennart is a highly experienced entrepreneur who will ensure that our long-term vision of building a larger iron ore company will continue to live on,” says Nils Bernhard.
