  • Assays of old drill cores from Gaddebo nickel occurrence, Enköping municipality, show interesting grades of nickel, copper, gold, palladium, and platinum:

- 5.1 m core section grading 0.42 % Cu, 0.24 % Ni, 0.23 ppm Pt, 0.22 ppm Pd, and 0.11 ppm Au (Gaddebo Drill hole nr: 2).

Relogged and assayed drill cores from Gaddebo nickel occurrence reviled interesting grades of  nickel, copper, gold, platinum, and palladium

Dannemora Prospektering AB has relogged and assayed two drill cores from the Gaddebo nickel deposit (see Appendix 1). Both drill holes intersect a sulfide mineralization. They are drilled at approximately 40 m distance from each other at the historic "Björngruvan" in Gaddebo. Dannemora Mineral AB has two exploration licenses in the area, Gaddebo 1 and 2, covering some 2,470 hectares.

Drill hole Gaddebo Dh nr 1 intersects a sulphide mineralization at a depth of 14.0 m. The mineralized core section has a length of 23,0 m grading 0.48 % Cu including a 10.3 m core section grading 0.74 % Cu, 0.20 % Ni, 0.31 ppm Pt, 0.08 ppm Pd, and 0.25 ppm Au.

Drill hole Gaddebo Dh nr 2 intersects the sulphide mineralization at a depth of 17.2 m. The mineralized core section has a length of 19.8 m grading 0.28 % Cu including a 5.1 m core section grading 0.42 % Cu, 0.24 % Ni, 0.23 ppm Pt, 0.22 ppm Pd, and 0.11 ppm Au.

The Gaddebo nickel deposit was mined during 1870-71 and produced 1,432 metric tones nickel ore.  The drill cores are stored at SGUs drill core storage in Malå. No historic information about assays from the drill cores were found and it is unknown  when the holes were drilled.
