Life Along the Line - Paul Atterbury NEW BOOK

Report this content

Paul Atterbury is best known for his presenting role on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow specializing in the art, architecture, design and decorative arts of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries but Paul is also a life-long railway enthusiast who has written six highly successful books about the railways and the lives surrounding it. His true passion is the people of the railways and the journeys they took, and this is highly reflected in his new book Life Along the Line (press release attached). Paul has some fascinating stories to tell, from the people of the railways whom he has met over the years to the hundreds of photos and railway ephemera he has collected (many never seen before). He also has a lot of knowledge of the railways, which he is always happy to share and is available to write one-off articles or be interviewed. The six books Paul has written for David & Charles have been hugely successful with the most recent one, Along Lost Lines selling almost 50,000 copies, and a little known but fun fact about Paul is that he was the inspiration for the 1950's childrens television show, Andy Pandy! If you would like to see a review copy of his new book, and/or arrange an interview with Paul please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes
