I wanted to let you know about a new book we are publishing with BBC Antiques Roadshow presenter and life-long railway enthusiast Paul Atterbury, Life Along the Line (October, £9.99) This is Paul's 5th book for David & Charles. Various images and stories from Bristol are featured from Bristol Parkway, Bristol Temple Meads, Victoria Park and Stapleton Road. Life Along the Line takes a nostalgic look at the world of British railways through the eyes of best-selling author and antiques expert Paul Atterbury. Built from archive photographs, this book is a visual feast, filled with fascinating and evocative railway ephemera that Paul himself has collected from tireless searches at car boot sales, auction sites and postcard and antiques fares. The images are available for use and Paul is available for interview.
