DIO appoints Crest Nicholson as Development Manager for Arborfield Garrison Re-development

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), the Ministry of Defence’s (MOD) property and services provider has selected Crest Nicholson as its Development Manager for the redevelopment of Arborfield Garrison. Located in Berkshire, the site offers a unique opportunity to deliver a high-quality sustainable development of some 2,000 new homes, associated supporting uses and major infrastructure. DIO previously signed a Collaboration Agreement with two adjoining landowners to deliver one of the most significant residential-led development opportunities in the South East of England.

MOD unveils facilities contract for South East England

Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) has unveiled a new contract for the future provision of facilities management at military establishments across the South East of England, and has begun inviting industry to submit expressions of interest. Developed under the Next Generation Estate Contracts (NGEC) programme, the Regional Prime South East covers MOD sites in Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Greater London.
