Thanckes jetty plans go on public display
The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) is giving people in South Devon the opportunity to find out more about proposals to build a new jetty at the Thanckes Oil Fuel Depot, in Devonport. Built in the 1950s, Yonderberry Jetty has been the main fuelling point used by Royal Navy ships from HMNB Devonport. The jetty has now reached the end of its serviceable life and DIO has now programmed its replacement.
