DeLaval Cleaning Analysis DCA wins silver medal for innovations at EuroTier .
Hanover, DE November 14, 2016. DeLaval wins the silver medal for innovations by EuroTier organisers DLG for its DeLaval cleaning analysis DCA, demonstrating our continued leadership in bringing innovations to the forefront of dairy farming. Criteria for selection included significant features such as optimising labour management, facilitating work safety and driving down energy costs.
“We are proud that the DeLaval cleaning analysis DCA is recognised by DLG further showing that our innovations allow us to help our customers in achieving a sustainable and profitable farm. We are pleased that DLG acknowledges our commitment to innovations” says Joakim Rosengren, President and CEO, DeLaval.
DeLaval DCA is a tool to determine effectiveness and efficiency of mechanical (slugs) and thermal processes during cleaning in milking machines. Its innovation lies in an algorithm that automates the way slugs in the milk line are analysed. By evaluating the mechanical and thermal processes of the cleaning of a milking machine, DeLaval DCA improves the cleaning procedures before problems appear, securing optimal cleaning results at all times.
“The precise and fine-tuned mechanical and thermal processes during the cleaning procedure are of utmost significance for unimpaired milk quality,” says Martina Dadomo, Product Specialist at DeLaval. “Appropriate shear stress at the pipe wall needs to be obtained safeguarding proper cleaning performance and efficient usage of valuable resources like heated water, detergent and time. Your milk deserves it.”
