Barter Business Unlimited Encouraging Barter Members To Donate To The Cove Center for Grieving Children
Effort Already Has Raised Over $75,000 For Connecticut Nonprofit Helping Children & Their Families
(Bristol, Connecticut) – Barter Business Unlimited, the region’s leading barter exchange company for business owners throughout the United States, announced today that its barter members and other trade exchange companies throughout the United States created an adhoc fundraising program this week for The Cove Center for Grieving Children that already has produced positive results and tens of thousands of dollars for the Connecticut based nonprofit organization.
"In Connecticut and beyond rarely has a dry eye been seen since Friday. Our children, friends, neighbors, communities and customers are traumatized by the event that happened in Newtown, CT. I really cannot imagine what the children and families in that community are feeling right now. As a result, Barter Business Unlimited has decided to put all efforts in supporting The Cove Center for Grieving Children, a Connecticut nonprofit organization that provides family and school-based programs to help children, teens and families work with their unresolved grief due to the death of someone significant in their lives and other traumatic losses," said Debbie Lombardi, president, Barter Business Unlimited. "Barter Business Unlimited has committed to raising $100,000 in barter dollars for The Cove and its effort to setup a site serving the Newtown community. This is a long term commitment to grieving families that will provide supportive programming for years to come. So far, we have raised thousands of barter dollars and tens of thousands of cash. As of today, we are happy to report that The Cove is now able to make the first steps and secure space for the operations so they can get to work immediately. I want to thank Dave Evans from EasySeat and the countless barter members who are helping this cause".
