Dentalum strengthens its presence in Stockholm through the acquisition of Swedish Dental. Dentalum thereby consists of 12 clinics in the Stockholm region and a total of 24 clinics in Sweden. Including the acquisition of Swedish Dental and previously communicated, but not yet completed, acquisitions, Dentalum’s pro forma1 revenue amounts to approx. SEK 396.9 million with an EBITDA of approx. 99.8 MSEK.

On April 1, 2022, Dentalum commences its partnership with Rasmy Shahnavaz and Arash Simyar and the team at Swedish Dental. The clinic, located centrally in Stockholm, has six treatment rooms, and was founded in 2006 by Rasmy. The clinic is one of the leading clinics in guided dental implant surgery and has over the years educated other dentists within this technique to achieve better precision, quality, and shortened treatment-time for the patients. Rasmy and Arash have also been nominated the Center of Excellence-award by Straumann Group. Swedish Dental are passionate about being in the forefront and to utilize the latest technology and has developed a digital workflow at the clinic that enables patients who need a full replacement of their teeth achieve this within 24 hours.

“We met Dentalum at the Annual Dental Congress and felt a strong connection to Dentalum’s philosophy and strategy, which is why we believed that a partnership would be a very exciting opportunity for us. Together with Dentalum, our aim is set to continue to grow our business and are currently searching for other premises in which we can expand our operations to, something that we and our employees are very much looking forward to.”, says Rasmy and Arash, owners of Swedish Dental.

“It feels very exciting to welcome this esteemed clinic to Dentalum. Early on in our discussions, we felt Arash and Rasmy’s clear determination to further expand Swedish Dental, which we wanted to do together with them. Arash and Rasmy have also expressed their strong interest to continuously contribute with their know-how and best practice to the rest of group, which is something that lies close to our hearts, says Dentalum’s CEO Max Dorthé Ladow.
