Denvir set to launch new UK Coconut Water brand
Freedom Brands Ltd, has appointed Denvir to handle the launch of its new coconut water brand to the market.
The Glasgow-based company, which imports coconut water from Thailand, appointed Denvir to assist with its trade and consumer market launches. Ross Currie, Executive Director at Freedom Brands said: “Freedom Brands is delighted to be working with Denvir as its marketing services agency. We believe their expertise in dealing with all aspects of the marketing mix and their strength as a fully integrated agency will be invaluable to us in helping to bring our new product to the UK market. Coconut water, harvested from young, green coconuts is a revitalising, sweet tasting drink which provides pure refreshment, naturally. It boasts a wealth of health and beauty benefits and is also zero fat, low calorie and naturally isotonic. The coconut water market is already worth $750million world-wide and we are thrilled to be partnered with Denvir in our venture to establish Go Coco as the leader in the UK coconut water market.” The Stirling-based brands agency will provide a fully integrated marketing and PR resource for the roll-out of the brand’s strategy. Freedom Brands’ account will be an addition to what is already an enviable client portfolio of customers at Denvir including Tesco, Loch Fyne Oysters, Scott Group, Halls, Strathmore Foods and Letts Diaries. Denvir was launched in 2003 as the UK’s only pure Brands agency. Today, it remains independent and provides full service, hands-on, brand marketing for clients requiring strategic planning, creative communications including advertising, digital, promotions and PR, and in-channel delivery with its team of over 200 Brand Ambassadors, who specialise in merchandising, sampling, events and field sales. In 2008, the agency won Best SME category in the National Business Awards, in 2009 was a winner at the Marketing Society Star Awards and most recently Denvir won the Best Direct Mail Campaign at the Scottish Advertising Awards 2010.
