Glasgow local girl awarded £150 by Loch Fyne Oysters

Glasgow based Kelvindale Primary School has been selected as one of three winners of it’s “Finn the Loch Fyne Fish” competition. Emma Carragher (aged 8) from Kelvindale Primary School was selected for her design, which will now feature as a restaurant placemat exclusively for the world-renowned Oyster Bar in Cairndow. Emma said “I hope it brightens up everybody’s day when they are eating their dinner and looking at my sparkly place mat.” She also won a hamper of goodies to enjoy and £150 for her school. Loch Fyne Oysters “Finn the Fish” competition supports the Scottish Government initiative “Eat more Fish” and now children visiting the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar can see Emma’s Finn the Fish placemat. Head Teacher at Kelvindale Primary School, Caroline Darroch said “Everyone at Kelvindale Primary School is proud of Emma’s achievement in winning this competition. We all think her placemat is wonderful.” Emma Carragher and two other winners Scott Parker and Suzanne Gillies, placemats are available now for all children visiting Loch Fyne Oyster Bar in Cairndow.
