Hall’s free Big Breakfast for families in Scotland

Scotland’s favourite family food brand, Hall’s, is enjoying ‘Scottish Breakfast Week’ from 4th - 10th April 2011, celebrating the great Scottish breakfast in cities across Scotland. Anna Finlay, Hall’s Brand Manager, said: “At Halls we’re all about creating great Scottish family mealtimes, and our Breakfast Week Campaign aims to bring families together and enjoy the best Scottish food.” To mark the occasion, Hall’s will be hosting a series of all day Big Breakfast events at the Edinburgh Costorphine (09.04.2011), Glasgow Silverburn (09.04.2011) from 9.00am until 4pm and Dundee Kingsway (10.04.2011) from 10.00am until 5pm, Tesco stores, inviting families across Scotland to get in to the spirit of Hall’s Scottish Breakfast Week and join in the fun with a free cooked breakfast. All the family is welcome to come along from, to get in the spirit of Hall’s Scottish Breakfast week and enjoy a Hall’s Breakfast and money off vouchers. Hall’s will also be fundraising for Alzheimer Scotland, which with Alzheimer’s Society is Tesco Charity of the Year 2011. Lynne Roxburgh, Regional Marketing Manager for Tesco in Scotland said: “We are delighted that Hall’s has decided to team up with Tesco to celebrate their Scottish Breakfast Week with the Big Breakfast events. This is a great way for Tesco shoppers to enjoy the Hall’s campaign and support Alzheimer Scotland.” Hall’s is a well known and well loved Scottish brand offering a range of traditional meat products such as sausages, breakfast packs, Lorne sausage and of course our famous national dish – The Hall’s Haggis. The company was founded in 1932 by David A Hall and has been based in Broxburn, near Edinburgh, since the early 1960s. The Hall's business currently employs in excess of 900 people at the Broxburn site, and is a major supporter of Scottish agriculture.
