Family food favourite, Hall’s has launched its largest ever haggis exclusively for Asda this Burns Day. Weighing in at an impressive 2.37kg, the “Great Emperor” haggis will be in stores nationwide from 20th January until Burns Day on the 25th. Perfect for spoiling the family this January, the Great Emperor caters for up to 15 people and retails at just £3. Asda Clydebank store manager, Callum Nicholson, said: "Asda is committed to offering customers the best quality Burns Day food at a price that won't mean they have to cut back on the tatties. The Emperor Haggis is a cracking treat for families, it's certainly big enough for the most ardent haggis fans, and we think that we may well smash last year's record breaking sales for Haggis around Burns Day." Anna Finlay, Brand Manager at Hall’s said: “At Halls, we specialise in feeding families great Scottish food, and making mealtimes easy and delicious, so we’re delighted to be launching our Great Emperor haggis for Asda this Burns Day.” Hall’s is a well known and well loved Scottish brand offering a range of traditional meat products such as sausages, breakfast packs, Lorne sausage and of course our famous national dish – The Hall’s Haggis. Hall’s is the No 1 haggis brand in Scotland and is the best selling haggis in the world. The company was founded in 1932 by David A Hall and has been based in Broxburn, near Edinburgh, since the early 1960s. The Hall's business currently employs in excess of 900 people at the Broxburn site, and is a major supporter of Scottish agriculture.
