McIntosh launches Scottish favourites…just in time for Burn’s Day!

Scottish food brand McIntosh, has launched two new products – Fresh Scottish Mashed Maris Piper Potatoes and Fresh Scottish Mashed Neeps, which will both be available in Tesco at the beginning of January 2011, just in time for Burn’s Day. The Fresh Mash contains Scottish mashed Maris Piper potatoes, is available as a 400g pack and priced at RRP £1.14. The Fresh Scottish Mashed Neeps is also available as a 400g pack and is priced at £1.17. Both products will be on promotion in Tesco until the end of January and available for £1 each. Ian Clarke, Sales Director, at McIntosh said: “There is currently no other Scottish brand for either fresh mashed potatoes or fresh mashed neeps – traditionally two of our most well-known Scottish meal accompaniments. So we’re delighted to be able to offer customers these new convenient products to complement the perfect Scottish mealtime.” McIntosh was founded in Dyce, Aberdeen and has become well-known for creating a range of wholesome, convenient, Scottish foods.
