Baxter Park in Dundee welcomed families and friends from across Scotland yesterday, Sunday 23rd January 2011, for the first ever Hall’s Haggis Hunt. The Hunt which was held in celebration of Hall’s launching the giant 2.37kg ‘Great Emperor’ exclusively for Asda, took place in Dundee’s stunning Baxter Park and challenged ‘hunters’ to find five individual Hall’s haggises and one Great Emperor for the grand prize of a £500 Asda voucher. The Great Emperor haggis was found by Shaun Cameron (aged 12) who received the grand prize of £500 Asda vouchers and a Great Emperor haggis to take home. Anna Finlay, Brand Manager at Hall’s said: “It is amazing to see such a great family turnout. Everyone looked to be having a great time looking for the Hall’s Great Emperor haggis. We’re delighted to have held an event like this for all the local families to enjoy.” Hall’s is a well known and well loved Scottish brand offering a range of traditional meat products such as sausages, breakfast packs, Lorne sausage and of course our famous national dish – The Hall’s Haggis.
