The Macdonald Aviemore Resort welcomes the arrival of a dedicated children’s entertainer to the Resort, further adding to its already fantastic array of child friendly resources including the brand new three storey soft-play, the Inflatable Fun Factory, Smarty Art and The Aviemore Adventure Club. Sara Simpson, the newly appointed Entertainment Manger, joins the team from Northumberland-based The Panto Company and is a professional performer and former drama teacher. She said: “I’m delighted to have joined the team at Macdonald Aviemore Resort, where its real haven for children of all ages. We’re really looking forward to developing the on-Resort entertainment packages, and being able to offer a whole host of activities for hotel residents as well as local children.” Sara has ambitious plans for the Resort, especially over the Easter holidays where her children’s entertainment schedule includes: Aviemore Adventure Kids Club – creative crafts, games time, puzzle mania, dance workout, karaoke, keep active and a talent competition Aviemore Children’s Time Workshop – Mask making, arty crafts, High School Musical Song session, dancing divas, prop making, Hannah Montana workshop and face painting Aviemore Children’s Fun Time – games fun, cinema club, WII competitions Evening Entertainment – with everything from Discos to race nights, quiz nights and bingo. From the beginning of April, there will be live entertainment for guests of all ages, every weekend at the Resort including cabaret and game show style quiz’s. The Macdonald Aviemore Resort, which consists of four hotels and 18 luxury woodland lodges, boasts 100 family rooms which can accommodate up to two children each; and the newly opened 600-seat cinema which is the only one between Perth and Inverness.
