Boys & Girls Club Kids Build Bright Futures with New GRIP On Tools on Designing Spaces on Lifetime TV
Grand Rapids Industrial Products teams up with Designing Spaces to provide toolkits for Boys & Girls Club kids in “Spaces of Hope – Building Bright Futures” makeover series
(Pompano Beach, FL – CISION – June 10, 2013) Grand Rapids Industrial Products (GRIP) will be featured on the popular home improvement show Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime TV in an upcoming episode of the “Spaces of Hope – Building Bright Futures” series airing on Wednesday, June 12th at 7:30 am (ET/PT).
Kevin VanderWoude from GRIP is on site at the Grand RapidsBoys and Girls Club of Broward County, FL to lend a helping hand in rebuilding the workshop room of the facility. While handing out the 9-piece Grip On toolkits, safety goggles and work belts to the aspiring craftskids, VanderWoude explains safety and the importance of adult supervision.
The toolkit includes real heat treated steel tools sized for children, which will help kids with hand-eye coordination and develop the life skills of learning how to build something. The Designing Spaces™ crew was on location to film the renovation of several of the Boys and Girls Clubs rooms, including the homework lab and wood workshop.
