Jamie Hastings from CTIA visits Boys & Girls Club to talk about their on-line resources for cyber safety in “Designing Spaces of Hope – Fostering Bright Futures” Series 

(Pompano Beach, FL – CISION – August 5, 2013) Popular home improvement show Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime TV will feature CTIA – The Wireless Association® in an “Empowering Parents and Kids for the Wireless World” segment airing on Thursday, August 8th at 7:30 am (ET/PT) as part of the “Designing Spaces of Hope – Back to School at the Boys and Girls Club” special series.

Jamie Hastings, Vice President External and State Affairs, CTIA-The Wireless Association will be on site at the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County, one of the largest in the country, to get feedback from the kids about cyber-bullying, sexting and privacy issues. Parents will learn about how they can manage their children’s cell phone usage and empower them to have conversations with their kids about using phones and other mobile devices safely.
