DuPont™ Helps Pool Water Sparkle on Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime TV
Viewers will get tips on keeping pool water clean and clear on upcoming show

Tune in to popular home improvement show Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime television on Wednesday, June 27th at 7:30 a.m. (ET/PT) to hear tips and advice on what steps to take to keep pool water looking its best.
During the episode, “Easy Pool Care”, Ed Lightcap from DuPont’s Recreational Water Business will talk about 3 easy steps for better water quality: 1-Sanitation, 2-Oxidation, and 3-Water balance. Many pool owners over chlorinate, and Designing Spaces viewers will learn that chloramines, not chlorine alone actually causes the characteristic “chlorine smell”.
DuPont manufactures a chlorine-free oxidizer for swimming pools and hot tubs, called Oxone® which helps remove organic contaminants introduced by swimmers and the environment, like sweat and cosmetics, dust, dirt, and leaves – that build up and cause dull, cloudy water, and form odorous and irritating chloramines.
By following a few simple steps, most pool owners should be able to treat and take care of their pool water in about 10-15 minutes each week, says Lightcap.
