Company teams up with Designing Spaces for “Spaces of Hope – Project Homeward Bound” makeover series to provide outdoor kitchen and fireplace for wounded war hero Jeff Taylor and his family

(Pompano Beach, FL – CISION – September 23, 2013) Earthcore Industries will be featured on the popular home improvement show Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime TV in the second episode of the 3-part mini-series “Project Homeward Bound” on Thursday, September 26th at 7:30 am (ET/PT).

Private First Class Jeff Taylor was wounded in Iraq in a mortar attack. Since his return, he and his family have lived in a cramped mobile home facing daily struggles until Designing Spaces™ and their valued partners like Earthcore Industries teamed up to renovate the house. “Project Homeward Bound”, which airs on Lifetime TV on September 25-27 at 7:30 am (ET/PT) chronicles the transformation of a dilapidated foreclosed-on home into a dream home for the Taylor family.

Earthcore's Carl Spadaro was on hand at the makeover site in Jacksonville, Fla. to transform a plain outdoor backyard space into a warm and welcoming one by donating an outdoor summer kitchen and fireplace that was built with Isokern components. Isokern fireplaces are the original in lightweight modular fireplaces, and come in a kit, so any DIY’er could build their own in less than a day.

“We so glad that Earthcore has joined us as a sponsor for this inspiring series. The fireplace and summer kitchen they have donated is a great solution to extending the Taylor’s living space and creating an inviting outdoor area where the Taylors can gather and enjoy time with their family and friends”, says Lysa Liemer, Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime Executive VP of Programming and Chief Operating Officer.
