TYPAR® Weather Protection System ‘House Wrap’ Protects Home From Moisture
(Pompano Beach, FL – April 11, 2013) Fiberweb’s TYPAR® Weather Protection System will be featured on the popular home improvement show Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime TV on Friday, April 12th at 7:30 am (ET/PT) in an “Understanding the Importance of a Home’s Envelope” segment as part of the “Think Green” series.
Fiberweb Construction Technical Manager Bijan Mansouri will meet up with the Designing Spaces™ host at a couple’s home to show viewers a TYPAR installation in progress and how it works as a barrier against destructive weather elements, allows moisture vapor to escape as well as contributing to improved overall energy efficiency. ENERGY STAR requires a house to have a continuous air barrier. TYPAR has been tested and approved as an effective air barrier.
