Interlogix Keeps Military Home Secure on ‘Homeward Bound’ Series on Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime TV
Company teams up with Designing Spaces for “Project Homeward Bound” makeover series to give Taylor family a security system for new home
(Pompano Beach, FL – CISION – September 24, 2013) Interlogix, a UTC company (NYSE: UTX) will be featured on the popular home improvement show Designing Spaces™ airing on Lifetime TV in the first episode of “Designing Spaces of Hope --Project Homeward Bound” on Wednesday, September 25th at 7:30 am (ET/PT).
The 3-part military home makeover series airs on Lifetime TV on Wed. September 25, Thurs. September 26th and Fri. September 27that 7:30 am (ET/PT).
“Project Homeward Bound” shows the step-by-step transformation of a dilapidated foreclosed-on home into a healthier, comfortable and more energy efficient one for injured soldier Private First Class Jeff Taylor and his family, who lived in a cramped mobile home facing daily struggles until Designing Spaces™ and their valued partners like Interlogix teamed up to renovate the house.
Interlogix helped the Taylor family integrate security and life safety by donating a security home management system to their newly renovated home, along with an iPad that will give them control over safety and comfort from just about anywhere. During the episode, Kirk MacDowell, vice president sales, intrusion, joins the show to talk about the features of the new Advisor™ security and comfort management system which integrate with the Interlogix TruVision® cameras both inside and outside of the home.
