Company to be featured on “Designing Spaces of Hope - Project Homeward Bound” series to help military family with financial management

Pompano Beach, FL – CISION – June 7, 2013) Popular home improvement morning show Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime TV has teamed up with USAA to help a military family with financial management. The segment will be part of the “Designing Spaces of Hope - Project Homeward Bound” series, which airs in late September 2013.

“Project Homeward Bound” is about a soldier who was injured while on tour in the Middle East and his return to a home that is in poor shape. Viewers will be taken on the step-by-step makeover of the Taylor family’s house into a home that is safer, up to code and more comfortable for the whole family. United Services Automobile Association will assist the Taylor family with financial advice to keep their budget on track and managed responsibly.

USAA was established in 1922 as a joint effort by a small group of Army officers to insure each other’s vehicles after being declined by insurance companies. Today, USAA serves military personnel and veterans by providing them with banking, investment, insurance, financial advice, and retirement services.

“Financial planning is one of the most crucial things for maintaining a household, and we’re glad to have the USAA on our show as a valued partner to help the Taylors with their money matters”, says Lysa Liemer, Executive VP of Programming and Chief Operating Officer of Designing Spaces™ on Lifetime TV.
