President and CEO of Destia to change
Destia’s President and CEO Hannu Leinonen and the Board of Directors of Destia have agreed that Hannu Leinonen will leave his position in Destia on 7 August 2017. Leinonen has acted as the President and CEO of Destia for the past eight years.

Hannu Leinonen has successfully led a long transition phase in Destia as the company changed from a former state company to a private one,” says Arto Räty, Chairman of Destia’s Board of Directors.

Destia’s Board of Directors has appointed Arto Pohjonen, member of the company’s Boad of Directors, as the interim President and CEO of Destia effective 7 August 2017. Arto Pohjonen is the former Managing Director of Lujatalo Oy and has previously held executive positions e.g. in YIT.
The appointment of new the President and CEO will be communicated later in the autumn.
