SolunoBC acquires telecom provider Kamoda AB. Kamoda has assumed extensive, end-to-end responsibility for customer communications with reliable, state-of-the-art ShoreTel solutions providing high availability and a wide range of features.

“Since Mitel purchased ShoreTel at a global level in 2017, it feels natural that SolunoBC is acquiring ShoreTel’s general agent in the Nordic market. Kamoda is a provider of professional telephony and communications solutions for businesses,” says Mattias Ohde, CEO of SolunoBC.

The acquisition marks the next step for SolunoBC as a Nordic cloud provider and brings it even closer to the international market. It also means a deepening of the company’s relationship with Mitel and opportunities for new platforms in the future. SolunoBC also sees the acquisition as a natural step in the Swedish market where consolidation is taking place. The shares acquired by SolunoBC make up the entire shareholding of Kamoda AB whose operations will be fully integrated into SolunoBC in the near future. The acquisition will not result in any significant changes for existing customers and the relationships will be adapted.

“The acquisition of Kamoda AB will bring added-value to SolunoBC. The company has worked with qualified solutions for contact centres and had its own development programme, which is reflected in an impressive customer base and an extensive range of services. The drive and expertise of the employees mean a differentiated approach to providing the market with a broader, even more attractive offering,” says Mattias Ohde, CEO at SolunoBC.

SolunoBC AB leads the market in the area of UCaaS solutions and is acquiring Kamoda AB as part of its growth strategy. The company sees major advantages in the commercial and technological changes that are going to take place in the market. This will ultimately lead to more interesting and more efficient solutions, provided in a more cost-effective way.

“We’ve had our eye on the successful journey that SolunoBC has been making for quite a while and it feels very stimulating to now be part of it. The portfolios of the companies complement one another very well and provide a strong platform for continued growth. I am in no doubt whatsoever that this deal will be positive for Kamoda’s customers as it brings more choice, support, sales and development,” says Kristian Karlsson, Kamoda AB.
