NEW YORK – September 9, 2011 - For the 10th season, DHL is the official logistics sponsor of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, a partnership that showcases its international expertise to bring the latest fashion creations to the runway -- right on time.

To highlight its continued commitment to and understanding of designers’ needs, DHL is a supporter of the Elie Tahari Spring 2012 runway show. Elie Tahari is a world-renowned designer with over 35 years experience, whose elegant creations are a must for modern, sophisticated women and men. “Fashion is a fast-paced industry as designers and fashion houses need to move their supplies around the world quickly and efficiently to meet demanding design-to-shelf cycle times,” said Ian Clough, CEO of DHL Express U.S. “Our ongoing partnership with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week continues to demonstrate our global expertise in helping fashion designers and retailers remain cutting edge in a vibrant, global marketplace. Because of this, more customers entrust us with their international shipments than with anyone else.”
