Diamon-Fusion’s new aftersales opportunity has it ‘covered’
Diamon-Fusion UK has further boosted the attractiveness and revenue generating opportunities of its newly launched nano-technology windscreen treatment by adding windscreen replacement cover to its offering.
The new cover, which is available in conjunction with a two stage DFI treatment being applied to the vehicle, can be sold by the service desks, as well as the dealership’s finance and insurance teams. It is also a non-FSA regulated product, further adding to its appeal.
Nathan Curzons, director, Diamon-Fusion UK, said: “Our newly launched cover is a great addition to the Diamon-Fusion offering, providing a fantastic opportunity for dealers to generate valuable additional income.
“The windscreen treatment itself, which results in greater visibility, reduced night time glare and tougher glass, is also a great retention tool thanks its ability to be packaged into a number of other innovative aftersales products.”
Indeed, the treatment can be sold as a stand-alone product with a ‘Peak Performance’ programme which entitles the customer to a complimentary inspection and revitaliser service every three or six months for up to three years. It can also be offered as part of an integrated menu of aftermarket products offered by the aftersales team, such as paint, tyre and wheel, interior fabric and other service contracts. Such flexibility means the treatment can be sold by parts departments, service departments, F&I business managers or sales executives working on the showroom floor.
The new glass cover is available for levels of £500 or £1,000 worth of cover and for a duration of either one, two or three years.
“Many customers who have already taken the steps to protect their windscreens as best they can with Diamon-Fusion will be open to the possibility of making sure they are fully protected from any unexpected damage with this additional level of cover.
“Therefore, we have no doubt that dealerships keen to explore the extra revenue streams that Diamon-Fusion offers, including the new windscreen guarantee cover, will soon find it an integral part of their aftersales operation,” added Curzons.
Diamon-Fusion’s new cover will be particularly appealing to the growing number of drivers who are finding that either their insurance policy no longer includes windscreen chip and replacement cover or the excess level for such cover has been increased significantly.
