MOSTLYMANX ALSO DONATES HAMPER AT THE ICSA ANNUAL DINNER 2014

Isle of Man, UK - MostlyManx makes the headlines again following its Commonwealth Games popularity.

MostlyManx has been dedicated to charitable donations for some time now and their latest donation was presented at the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) annual dinner on Friday 19thSeptember.

In addition, MostlyManx founder and fellow member of the ICSA Dian Skelton, was given the honour of presenting former England international cricketer and guest speaker Mark Ramprakash with a MostlyManx gift. Commenting on the event, Dian said the following:

“It was a great honour for me to make the presentation at the ICSA dinner, I have been a member for many years and to get the opportunity to present our guest speaker with a gift from the shop was fantastic.

“It was also a proud moment because the Laxey Woollen Mills have been in my family for over half a century and to gain recognition at this level and be viewed as a symbol of the Isle of Man, is very special.”

The Isle of Man has a rich history of weaving and the earliest evidence of traditional homespun tweed dates back to the Viking era. It wasn’t until the 1970s that Robert Wood introduced the five colour Tartan based on Patricia McQuaid’s original design and Laxey Manx Tartan was born. Since that time, Laxey Manx Tartan has been a symbol of the Isle of Man with a customer base that has reached as far as Hong Kong.
