ANNOUNCEMENT AS REQUIRED BY CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10 OF THE FINNISH SECURITIES
MARKET ACT

As required by Chapter 2, Section 10 of the Finnish Securities Market Act,
SysOpen Digia Plc today received an announcement of changes in the Company's
ownership.

Accordingly, Mr. Pekka Sivonen's holding in SysOpen Digia Plc accounts for less
than one-fifth (1/5) of voting rights and share capital, as a result of Pekka
Sivonen's sale of his holding in SysOpen Digia Plc shares on 8 July 2005.

Previously, Pekka Sivonen held a total of 3,719,068 SysOpen Digia shares,
accounting for 20.46 per cent of share capital and voting rights. As a result of
the trade closed today, Pekka Sivonen decreased its holding to 3.619.068 SysOpen
Digia shares, accounting for 19.91 per cent of share capital and voting rights.

Today, SysOpen Digia's share capital totals EUR 1,817,780, consisting of a total
of 18,177,800 shares.
