Digia is Microsoft’s Power Platform Partner of the Year
Digia has received Microsoft’s Partner of the Year title for the third consecutive year. Both previous times, the title was awarded in the Smart Business Solutions/Dynamics 365 category. In recent years, Digia has been working to expand its Power Platform activities.
“In the Power Platform category, we award partners who have developed innovative Power Platform solutions that generate business value for their customers and expanded their own Power Platform business operations”, says Microsoft’s Katarina Engblom, Director of Global Partner Solutions.
In recent years, Digia has been working to expand the role of Microsoft’s low-code Power Platform in its offering.
“Demand for low-code solutions is growing constantly. We have put a greater emphasis on our Power Platform work and see further growth on the horizon. The advantage of Power Platform is its flexibility. It can just as well be used to create highly specific complementary solutions to customers’ individual needs or expansive system solutions”, says Samuli Forsman, who heads up Digia’s D365 Customer Apps & Power Platform unit.
“Microsoft Power Platform solutions also provide significant added value and opportunities when it comes to complementing ERP solutions. These tools can be used to easily assign different parts of ERP and financial management processes to different people within the organisation. Our solutions are centred on making our customers’ business operations smarter, and Power Platform is one of the key elements we use to achieve this goal”, says Jarkko Savolainen, who is in charge of Digia’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solutions.
“Many of our customers are currently in the process of weighing the pros and cons of AI. Due to the ease of adopting Microsoft AI solutions, Power Platform is an excellent way to try out and deploy AI technology. This allows us to lower the threshold our customers need to step across to enter the AI world”, says Sami Paihonen, head of Digia’s Digital Solutions service area.
