SYSOPEN DIGIA TO ENTER INTO JOINT DISCUSSIONS AT YOMI SOFTWARE OY

SysOpen Digia will enter into joint discussions with employees of Yomi Software
Oy, a SysOpen Digia Group company, as governed by the Act on Co-operation in
Workplaces. Relating to the sales staff, administration and administrative
employees at Yomi Software Oy and the Telecom Solutions business area within
Integration Division as well as the Industry and Professional Services business
unit, these joint discussions are aimed at restructuring operations, eliminating
overlapping operations, enhancing the company's profitability and discontinuing
unprofitable businesses (production-related and financial reasons).

The discussions will involve neither the Smartphone Division, SysOpen Digia Plc
nor Digia Inc.

The resulting measures may include redundancies applying to an estimated 20-30
employees and possible temporary dismissals, for the purpose of saving
approximately EUR 1,5 million in annual costs from 2006 onwards.

Any redundancies and temporary dismissals will apply to administrative and sales
personnel, staff not performing work subject to invoicing and employees involved
in loss-making businesses.

The planned measures will not degrade SysOpen Digia's customer service.

Beginning on 3 May 2005, the joint discussions are estimated to end by 15 June
2005.

The joint discussions apply to functions employing approximately 100 persons.
