AFP Conference, Boston, Mass, November 7, 2011Digital Check Corp (www.digitalcheck.com), a provider of desktop check scanners and remote deposit capture technology to the financial industry worldwide, announced two new check and page scanners in its SB Line of scanners for the remote lockbox, small office, and home office environments today at the AFP Conference in Boston.

“Wholesale and remote lockbox have been growing over the years as both small business customers and large corporations want to scan in the complete accounts receivable  transaction, including the checks, invoices, payment coupons, contracts, and other documents together so that nothing is lost and the accounting department has everything they need to quickly apply the payment, our line of SB scanners offers a scaled solution depending on the customer’s need.”” said Jeff Hempker, vice president of U.S. sales for Digital Check,

The SB700 and SB800 expands the already successful SB line that currently includes the SB500 and SB600 portable check and document scanners that were introduced in 2009.  These new scanners have built-in auto feeders that captures duplex images at up to 600 dpi resolutions and are capable of scanning IDs, checks, and full page documents up to legal size (8 ½” x 14”). Each of the scanners is also designed to auto-detect the document size, deskew, crop, and auto rotate the image.  The scanners will operate using Digital Check’s advanced thresholding functionality via its API v.11.x or will also operate using a standard TWAIN interface.  The SB700 and SB800 will also include additional software for OCR and barcode reading capability.

“These auto feed scanners will be a great solution for remote lock box environments, healthcare facilities, financial institutions, transportation companies, and for many other applications” said John Gainer, executive vice president at Digital Check Corp. “Whether a business person is on the road or in a corporate environment, Digital Check has the right solution for every need.”
