-- On display at booth 615 at the American Library Association Conference—
New Orleans, June 21, 2011 - ST Imaging (STI), a manufacturer and supplier of micrographics and book scanning technology, announces the premier of the new Zeta Book Scanner from Zeutschel. The new scanner will be shown in ST Imaging’s expanded exhibitor booth #615 at the ALA Conference in New Orleans, June 24-27th. “The zeta book scanner compliments our collection scanning solutions especially designed for use by staff and patrons in libraries. The public lending library books, and non-circulated rare books and maps can be imaged without damage, and in a fast, easy, and cost effective way.” says Dan Donaldson, director of imaging products for ST Imaging.
Priced under $10,000, the zeta book scanner is the ideal low cost, multi-functional system for digital copying in libraries, archives, educational institutions and corporations. Operators can literally unpack, plug-in and begin to capture a wide variety of materials: historical books, new books, magazines, files, ring binders, contracts, balance sheets, engineering plans and more. Offering a preview option on the high-resolution touch screen, the zeta delivers high-quality data to email, USB, FTP or printer. The scanner will be available in September of 2011 from certified ST Imaging partners.
