Condor first in Europe to buy Digital Vision's High Definition Adaptive Film Grain and Electronic Noise Reduction System Stockholm, September 12, 2001 - Digital Vision proudly announces the first sale in Europe of the new High Definition AGR-IV (Adaptive Film Grain and Electronic Noise Reduction) to the Dutch company Condor Post Production. The AGR-IV will be used in the new resolution independent Telecine facility at Condor's London branch. The High Definition AGR-IV builds on the success of the industry standard DVNR but also introduces many new features and techniques into the art of grain and noise reduction. "The introduction of the AGR-IV marks the launch of Digital Vision's new DVNR product range and we believe we shall once again set a new benchmark in this field." said Greg Holland, Sales Manager at Digital Vision in the UK. The sale also includes two DVNR1000-4x4 Image Processing Workstations for Standard Definition image processing for use in Condor's Telecine facilities in Amsterdam and London. "Condor's acquisition of the AGR-IV completes the pioneering work we have done to be able to offer our customers the choice of working in any resolution, be it Standard Definition, High Definition or Data format" said Rob Meddens, Managing Director at Condor. Digital Vision's DVNR Real-Time Image Processing Workstations are available in 4:2:2, 4:4:4 and High Definition (HD) formats and support the highest standards in image enhancement, colour correction, compression pre-processing and format conversion.
